These semi-precious Amazonite stone beads are a semi-opaque variety of gemstone known as Feldspar. Amazonite was used extensively by the Egyptians and is known as the stone of courage. The striking colour of Amazonite is due to the presence of lead in the stone. The stone is said to dispel negative energy whilst improving confidence, communication and leadership.
